1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the services of East Vaal Motors Service Center, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
2. Service Booking and Appointments
2.1 Booking Confirmation: All service bookings are subject to confirmation by East Vaal Motors. We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances.
2.2 Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. Late cancellations may incur a cancellation fee.
2.3 No-Show Policy: Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice may result in a no-show fee and may affect future booking privileges.
3. Service Provision
3.1 Service Quality: We commit to providing professional automotive services using certified technicians and quality parts where applicable.
3.2 Service Warranty: All work performed is covered by our 12-month warranty, subject to normal wear and tear and proper vehicle maintenance.
3.3 Vehicle Safety: We reserve the right to refuse service if a vehicle is deemed unsafe or if required repairs exceed the scope of the original booking.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Pricing: All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are subject to change without prior notice. Final pricing will be confirmed upon service completion.
4.2 Payment Methods: We accept cash, card payments, and electronic transfers. Payment is due upon completion of services.
4.3 Additional Charges: Additional parts or services not included in the original quote will be communicated and require customer approval before proceeding.
5. Vehicle Collection and Storage
5.1 Collection Time: Vehicles must be collected within 24 hours of service completion notification. Storage fees may apply for vehicles left longer.
5.2 Vehicle Security: While we take all reasonable precautions, East Vaal Motors is not responsible for personal items left in vehicles during service.
5.3 Abandoned Vehicles: Vehicles not collected within 30 days may be considered abandoned and subject to legal disposal procedures.
6. Liability and Insurance
6.1 Service Liability: Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided. We are not liable for consequential damages or loss of use.
6.2 Customer Insurance: Customers are responsible for ensuring their vehicles are adequately insured during service periods.
6.3 Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
7.1 Data Collection: We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
7.2 Data Usage: Customer information is used solely for service provision, communication, and business operations.
7.3 Data Security: We implement appropriate security measures to protect customer data from unauthorized access or disclosure.
8. Complaints and Disputes
8.1 Complaint Procedure: Complaints should be submitted in writing within 30 days of service completion. We will respond within 5 business days.
8.2 Dispute Resolution: We aim to resolve all disputes amicably. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be referred to appropriate consumer protection authorities.
9. Modifications to Terms
East Vaal Motors reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
